Living Stones Foundation is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager (Volunteer) to lead our people strategy, strengthen volunteer engagement, and develop scalable HR processes that support our growing global community. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys creating positive organizational cultures, developing talent, and implementing modern people practices within an international nonprofit environment.

Position Overview As Human Resources Manager, you will oversee the Foundation's volunteer HR operations, talent acquisition strategy, onboarding experience, organizational policies, and volunteer engagement initiatives. Working closely with executive leadership and team leaders, you will help develop a collaborative culture that attracts, supports, and retains talented volunteers from around the world. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution and is ideal for someone passionate about people development and organizational growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesHuman Resources Strategy

Develop and implement HR strategies that support organizational growth and volunteer engagement. Create and maintain HR policies, onboarding frameworks, and volunteer lifecycle processes. Promote an inclusive, collaborative, and mission-driven organizational culture. Support organizational planning and workforce development initiatives.

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

Lead international volunteer recruitment initiatives. Design recruitment campaigns and sourcing strategies. Collaborate with department leaders to identify staffing needs. Improve candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Volunteer Development & Engagement

Design onboarding and orientation programs. Develop recognition and retention initiatives. Coordinate performance feedback processes. Support leadership development and internal training initiatives.

HR Operations & Compliance

Maintain volunteer records and HR documentation. Ensure compliance with internal policies and nonprofit best practices. Monitor HR metrics including recruitment, retention, onboarding, and engagement. Recommend continuous improvements to HR processes and systems.

Collaboration & Organizational Support

Partner with executive leadership on organizational planning. Support conflict resolution and employee relations when needed. Coordinate with project managers to align talent with organizational priorities. Foster collaboration across multicultural and international teams.

QualificationsRequired

Background in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or related fields. Experience leading HR operations, recruitment, or talent management. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities. Experience working with HR systems and collaboration tools. Professional proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).

Preferred

Experience managing remote or international teams. Knowledge of nonprofit volunteer management. Familiarity with ATS platforms and HR software. Experience using Slack, ClickUp, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, or similar collaboration tools. Experience supporting multicultural organizations.
