About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team in Barrie. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities and has experience in bookkeeping, office administration, payroll, and recruitment.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting day-to-day office operations while assisting with accounting, administrative, and recruiting functions.
ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Administration
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and issue customer invoices
- Assist with payroll processing
- Maintain accurate financial and administrative records
- Perform data entry and filing
- Reconcile accounts and assist with bookkeeping tasks
- Utilize QuickBooks for daily accounting functions
Office Support
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls
- Respond to emails and general inquiries
- Maintain organized filing systems (electronic and paper)
- Order office supplies as required
- Assist management with various administrative projects
Recruiting & Human Resources Support
- Screen resumes and schedule interviews
- Conduct preliminary candidate interviews
- Assist with job postings and recruitment activities
- Support onboarding and employee documentation
General Duties
- Complete occasional local pickups and deliveries
- Assist with errands and other office-related tasks as required
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, vendors, and staff
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 2 years of office administration experience
- Experience using QuickBooks
- Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, billing, and payroll
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred
- Experience with recruitment and interviewing
- Experience working in staffing, manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments
Licensing & Requirements
- Valid Ontario Class G Driver's Licence
- Clean driver's abstract
- Must meet vehicle insurance requirements and not be classified as a high-risk or inexperienced driver for company insurance purposes
- Reliable transportation

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
