About Our Client

Bureau designs and manufactures acoustically smart, modular office pods and phone booths used in workplaces around the world. Its solutions provide a quicker, greener, and more effective alternative to traditional construction, offering private spaces for focused work, meetings, and collaboration.

Bureau is a fast-growing global product business with hubs in Vancouver, New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, London, Berlin, Sydney, Adelaide, and Melbourne. In the office booth market, the company is strategically positioned as the pragmatic, high-value option, combining strong product design with a resourceful, entrepreneurial culture.

Founded and led by four experienced start-up entrepreneurs who remain actively involved in the business, Bureau is a small but mighty team built on ownership, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving. As the company continues to scale globally, office privacy booths are just the beginning of a much larger vision to solve problems that create value, together.

About This Role

Reporting to the Global HR Director, this person will play a key role in supporting our global growth. The primary focus of the role will be working directly with hiring managers to drive and improve recruitment processes across multiple regions, while also supporting the core HR operations that keep our teams running smoothly.

This role is well-suited for someone who is intrinsically motivated, takes ownership of their work, and enjoys improving processes without needing constant direction. You should be comfortable managing details, communicating clearly, and working with people across different teams, locations, and time zones.

Responsibilities Include

Talent Acquisition ( 60%)

Manage full-cycle recruitment across functions and regions, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer support. Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements, candidate profiles, and sourcing strategies aligned with business needs. Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, direct outreach, and other channels. Act as the main point of contact for candidates, ensuring clear communication and a positive experience throughout the process. Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS and track key recruitment metrics, including pipeline health, source effectiveness, and time-to-fill. Coordinate with external recruitment partners when needed and support improvements to recruiting processes, tools, employer branding, and candidate experience.

HR Operations & Coordination (40%)

Support HR operations across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, and off-boarding. Coordinate global onboarding, including employment agreements, documentation, orientation, equipment, system access, and workspace readiness. Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS, ensuring confidentiality, data integrity, and compliance with local requirements. Assist with payroll coordination, benefits administration, employee inquiries, and employment-related documentation. Support HR reporting, analytics, policy communication, and people programs across regions. Keep internal systems and documentation up to date, including Notion, BambooHR, Google Drive, and other HR tools.

About The Candidate

You bring 2+ years of experience in talent acquisition and HR operations, with exposure to full-cycle recruitment from posting, sourcing, and screening through interview coordination and offer support. You are confident using ATS, HRIS, and other people systems, with BambooHR experience considered an asset.

You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-minded, with the ability to manage hiring workflows, onboarding, employee records, payroll support, benefits administration, and employment documentation. You understand the importance of accuracy, discretion, and compliance, and experience supporting HR across multiple regions such as Canada, the U.S., Australia, or the U.K. would be an asset.

You communicate clearly, work well with multiple stakeholders, and take a proactive, solution-oriented approach to improving recruitment and HR processes. You are comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment, care about delivering a strong candidate and employee experience, and previous experience in a start-up or scaling business would be considered an asset.

This position is based out of our Vancouver office in Mount Pleasant, with flexibility to work remotely up to two days per week.
