This position is based in Woodstock, Ontario. This position is deemed a critical vacancy. Why this Role is Important Fanshawe College’s Woodstock/Oxford Regional Campus is a dynamic and growing hub for education, workforce development, and community engagement in Oxford County. Situated on a 50-acre campus near downtown Woodstock and the crossroads of Highways 401 and 403, the campus offers a unique learning environment with small class sizes, strong community connections, and programming designed to meet the evolving needs of local employers and learners. The campus delivers a broad range of full-time and part-time postsecondary, continuing education, apprenticeship, and skills training opportunities across sectors including health care, education, manufacturing, technology, and trades, with a strong focus on supporting regional economic growth and workforce development. Reporting to the Dean, Faculty of Arts and Language, Regional Campuses, and Continuing Education, the Campus Manager, Woodstock/Oxford Regional Campus is accountable for the overall daily operations and coordination of campus activities. The role oversees the development, delivery, marketing, and budgeting of part-time and continuing education programming, and supports Associate Deans in planning and staffing full-time post-secondary programs offered at the campus. The incumbent leads the recruitment, onboarding, supervision, and performance management of support staff, non-full-time faculty, and contract personnel, ensuring effective operational support for all campus activities. The Campus Manager builds and maintains strong working relationships with industry, community partners, and professional organizations in Oxford County, while collaborating closely with college leaders to advance campus priorities. The role provides day-to-day operational oversight related to facilities, IT, human resources, student services, and campus events, resolving issues and escalating matters to the Dean or Associate Deans as appropriate. Academic decisions are referred to the relevant Associate Dean. How You’ll Make an Impact Campus Operations Manages the day-to-day operation of the campus Provides direct operational supervision to support staff and oversees academic and student success processes such as orientation, graduation, student registration, and applicant follow-up Resolves daily operational issues related to human resources, facilities, IT, and ensures quality customer service is provided, escalating issues as appropriate Participates in coordinating the annual campus budget, including program costing and analysis Liaises with College service areas regarding fees, physical resources, student awards, and related operational matters Oversees campus events and ensures effective coordination of campus activities General Leadership Recruits, hires, trains, motivates, and evaluates non‑full‑time faculty and full‑ and part‑time support staff for programs within the incumbent’s area of responsibility Supports Associate Deans in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and payroll processing for non‑full‑time faculty for post‑secondary programs Develops and maintains strong community relationships throughout Oxford County by participating in industry and community boards, associations, and consultations with local business and municipal leaders Collaborates closely with college management to support campus priorities Participates in special projects as requested by the Dean or Associate Deans May be required to support operational activities at the other regional campuses and delivery sites, when needed Part-Time and Continuing Education Programming Identifies, develops, markets, staffs, and evaluates continuing education courses, workshops, and seminars delivered online or in person during daytime, evening, and weekend hours Determines course types and delivery methods to meet community and student needs Creates PT & CE courses and programs aligned with labour‑market and student demand, including conducting consultations, focus groups, and advisory committees Guides subject matter experts in developing learning outcomes, evaluation tools, and resource materials Accountable for the Continuing Education operational budget and policies Other Duties as Assigned What You'll Bring Post-secondary 3 year diploma/degree in Business Administration, Education, Public Administration, Human Resources or a related field Master’s degree in Education, Business Administration, Public Administration, or Organizational Leadership is a strong asset Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in post‑secondary education, continuing education, or a related sector An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered Project management certification (PMP/CAPM), HR Designation (CHRP/CHRL) and/or Certification in adult education, instructional design, or leadership development preferred Experience developing or managing continuing education or adult‑learning programs, including course creation, delivery planning, and evaluation Experience working with community partners, industry stakeholders, or advisory committees, demonstrating the ability to build and maintain external relationships Experience with budgeting, program costing, and financial analysis, including contributing to annual budget planning Demonstrated experience in planning, budgeting, resource allocation, conflict resolution, and supervision, with strong leadership ability Recruitment and payroll experience, including hiring, processing contracts, onboarding, and ensuring accurate and timely payroll submissions Excellent problem‑solving, customer service, and communication skills Knowledge of College and Ministry policies and College systems What This Opportunity Offers Comprehensive Pension & Benefits: Join a defined-benefit pension plan (through the CAAT Pension Plan) that delivers predictable lifetime retirement income, plus dental, disability, travel insurance and extended health coverage.
