We are currently recruiting for an on-site Manager, Corporate Training.

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Director, Training and Compliance, the Manager, Corporate Training is responsible for the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs across the organization. This role ensures that all site and corporate employees are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and skills required to perform effectively, while maintaining compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and applicable legislation. 

The Manager, Corporate Training leads engaging, scalable learning experiences—ranging from onboarding programs and instructor-led sessions to digital learning and microlearning—while partnering with property management and leadership teams to drive consistency, performance, and operational excellence.

YOUR NEW ROLE AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

As an energetic and career-minded individual, the Manager, Corporate Training, is responsible for:

 

Training Delivery & Facilitation

  • Design and deliver engaging training programs, including but not limited to:
    • New hire onboarding for:
      • Site Administrators
      • Leasing Associates
      • Property and Portfolio Managers
      • Training and Compliance Summer Students
      • Corporate Summer Student
    • Instructor-led training (in-person and virtual)
    • Lunch-and-learn session and workshops
    • Compliance and policy training
    • Systems training
    • Refresher and upskilling sessions
    • Leadership and soft skills training (communication, customer service, conflict resolution)
  • Facilitate interactive and engaging sessions using a variety of delivery formats and tools
  • Adapt training approaches to meet the needs of diverse audiences and learning styles

 

Training Content Development & Instructional Design

  • Design, develop, and maintain training materials, including:
    • Training manuals, Standard Operation Procedures (SOP’s) and process documentation
    • Slide decks, facilitator guides, and job aids
    • E-learning modules and microlearning content
    • Video-based and interactive training content
  • Ensure all materials align with corporate policies, procedures, and brand standards
  • Update content regularly to reflect operational, system, and legislative changes

Training Program Development & Coordination

  • Assess training needs in collaboration with leadership and site teams
  • Develop structured onboarding programs and training schedules
  • Build scalable training programs that support organizational consistency
  • Coordinate internal and external training initiatives where applicable

Coaching & Employee Support

  • Provide coaching and guidance to employees and managers across all levels
  • Support new employees through onboarding and follow-up training
  • Partner with site leaders to identify and address knowledge or performance gaps
  • Encourage a culture of continuous learning and development

Operational Support & Compliance

  • Support adherence to company policies, procedures, and systems (e.g., Yardi)
  • Identify process gaps and opportunities for operational improvement
  • Assist in implementing and training on new policies, procedures, and system updates
  • Ensure training programs reflect current legislation and compliance requirements

Program Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

  • Collect feedback to evaluate training effectiveness
  • Track participation and engagement in training programs
  • Recommend improvements to enhance training delivery and outcomes
  • Stay current on industry trends and learning & development best practices

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, or a related field
  • 3-5+ years of experience in corporate training, learning & development, or property management
  • Proven experience facilitating training programs and onboarding initiatives
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across regions
  • Proven experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Strong conflict management skills addressing learner resistance
  • Ability to adapt and respond to diverse learners and learning styles

SYSTEMS & TOOLS EXPERTISE

  • Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft 365 suite to support communication, reporting, and training delivery
  • Creative content development tools for training materials (For example: Canva, Adobe Illustrator)
  • Video production and editing tools to support modern learning formats (For example: Clipchamp, Capcut)

DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Fluency in French
  • Experience in instructional design and adult learning principles
  • Strong reporting, analytics, and program evaluation skills
  • Train-the-Trainer or Coaching certification
  •  Experience with enterprise property management systems (preferred, but not required)
  • Digital workflow and project management platforms (Monday.com)
  • E-learning authoring tools (Articulate 360) for scalable training solutions
  • Hybrid training technology to facilitate seamless in-person and virtual learning environments (e.g., OWL cameras)
