What you would engage in: An exciting opportunity exists for a Talent Acquisition Specialist, reporting to our Manager, Talent Acquisition. The successful candidate can work from a combination of home and office, based in Vancouver. This role will provide you with an opportunity to: What you would engage in: •Champion our best-in-class candidate experience as we continue to grow. •Review, shortlist, and screen candidates as well as coordinate required interviews. •Leverage your sourcing skills and proactively seek and engage with candidates through multiple streams. •Draft and negotiate offers. •Foster the partnership between Talent Acquisition, hiring managers and the respective HR business partners . •Have a pulse on candidates as they move through the pipeline, while providing them with the high-touch candidate experience. •Leverage your communication skills through LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and other social media channels. •This role will forge relationships and attend recruiting fairs at educational institutions. What we require: •Degree in Marketing or HR is preferred, but other post-secondary degrees and diplomas will be considered. •5+ years of full cycle recruitment experience. •Previous success in direct sourcing of candidates. •Experience in relationship building roles. •An interest in social media content creation. •Highly organized and detailed focused •An ability to adjust to agendas that continually change. In addition to the must have requirements you will excel in this role if you have the following: •You're curious and eager to learn. •You are a people person. It’s important that you have a knack for building rapport, quickly. •You are well organized and enjoy coordinating logistical details. The salary for this position is $80,000 to $97,000 per year. Salary is based on applicable experience, education, and skill level.
