YOUR IMPACT AT PLATFORM
Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Human Resources, the HRBP will partner with leaders across the business to support performance, team effectiveness, and growth.
This role is built for an HR professional ready to deepen their business partnership skills, whether stepping up from a Generalist role or building on early HRBP experience. You will be a trusted advisor to leaders while staying hands-on in the work, helping shape how HR shows up at Platform.
Support and continuously improve Platform’s performance management framework and broader HR initiatives Lead recruitment and selection processes, partnering with leaders to attract and hire top talent Manage onboarding to ensure a smooth, consistent new hire experience across all offices Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and compliance with HR processes, health & safety standards, and SOPs Act as a trusted advisor to leaders, providing practical, actionable guidance on HR policies and people matters Coach managers through performance conversations, feedback, and complex employee situations Support compensation reviews, promotions, and internal equity discussions Identify trends in engagement, performance, and turnover, and recommend actionable improvements Partner closely with the HR team and collaborate across offices to deliver coordinated support Manage competing priorities across business groups with strong organization and timely delivery Communicate clearly and professionally while maintaining confidentiality and discretion Represent HR as a credible, approachable, and solutions-oriented function
Education, Experience & Qualifications
At least five years of progressive HR experience Proven experience as a HR Generalist or HRBP Strong foundation in employee relations, performance management, and manager coaching Ability to build credibility with leaders and influence without authority Sound judgment, discretion, and a practical approach to problem-solving CHRP designation, or actively working toward one, is preferred Experience in professional services, insurance or financial services, or brokerage is an asset

This role is based in our Toronto office (161 Bay Street) with a minimum of four (4) days per week in office.
