About the role
Job Purpose
The Human Resources Coordinator provides a variety of skilled and experienced administrative/ clerical support for the Department; involving exposure to sensitive information, basic administrative tasks like overall telephone directory, clientele direction, forwarding of documentation to the proper recipients, assisting with the Branch representatives, data entry, and any other duties as assigned. This position requires considerable use of facts, diplomacy, discretion, and judgement.
Education, Experience And Requirements
A clear criminal record check Plan, Coordinate, and direct operations of an office setting, with the ability to respond quickly and appropriately in emergency situations is essential. Strong oral and written communication skills, dependability, great punctuality, and the ability to maintain a professional attitude and appearance is key. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to change is considered an asset, along with having some knowledge of the Human Resources goals and/or objectives and Enoch Cree Nations Policies and Procedures is critical. High school diploma or GED Related post-secondary microcomputer business applications are an asset, or at least two years of experience in office related setting. Ongoing training and skill development may be required to continue to keep up with the demands of the Department growth is a must First-aid an WHMIS certificates are an asset, including any Human Resources related certificates. Safety in the workplace certificate is preferred.
Working Conditions
The Human Resources Coordinator is required to work total of 40 hours per week in the office or at sites: Monday to Friday, 830 – 430 (with a one-hour paid lunch break); flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed. Primary location: Enoch Cree Nation H.R. Department, with occasional travel to various sites. Physical fitness required (ability to walk, climb stairs, lift to 50 lbs, etc.). A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required. Must sign and adhere to the Enoch Cree Nation Confidentiality Agreement upon hire.
