Summary

The Human Resources Coordinator is a role providing administrative support to the HR Ops function and regional HR Team. Reporting to the HR leader, you will execute HR processes and practices to support your designated region.

Core Responsibilities

  • Records & Systems: Update MyWorkday employee profiles, maintain accurate HR databases and generate reports on key metrics like new hires, terminations, and employee details.
  • Documentation: Process employee paperwork, prepare verification letters, process invoices, and draft job change documents.
  • Onboarding: Assist with new hire orientation sessions.
  • Employee Support: Act as a point of contact for inquiries and advise managers on HR policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Compliance: Maintain immigration documentation, support the TFW program, and ensure adherence to provincial laws.
  • Engagement: Conduct exit interviews and participate in projects to improve retention and reduce turnover.

Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years in an HR or administrative capacity preferred; demonstrated ability to collaborate and build networks
  • Knowledge: Working knowledge of provincial employment standards.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google/Microsoft Office and HRIS (MyWorkday preferred).
  • **Soft Skills:**A project management mindset with high attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
