About The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. This pivotal role requires a proactive leader who is passionate about people management and organizational development. As a key member of our HR team, you will oversee a broad spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, coaching, payroll, benefits administration, and health & safety compliance. Your role will extend beyond traditional HR responsibilities to include driving operational transformation through the integration of artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and innovative workflows. This position offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of HR technology, working closely with our internal AI specialists to develop and implement solutions that enhance efficiency, data accuracy, and decision-making capabilities. Your strategic insights and hands-on approach will support our growth ambitions and help shape a progressive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with our business objectives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess over 10 years of comprehensive HR experience, preferably within manufacturing, production, or construction sectors. A strong background in recruitment, coaching, and program development is essential, along with practical experience in implementing AI, automation, or process improvements. You should have a solid understanding of employment law, payroll systems, and health & safety regulations to ensure compliance and operational excellence. Bilingual proficiency in English and French is highly advantageous, enabling effective communication across diverse teams. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and an aptitude for quickly adopting new systems are required. The candidate must demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, be action-oriented, and capable of working independently or collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. A proven track record of building strong teams and fostering positive organizational cultures is also important.

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle recruitment for production, technical, administrative, and leadership roles, utilizing AI tools for screening, shortlisting, and posting in both English and French. Oversee onboarding processes and foster early engagement to ensure new hires integrate smoothly into the company culture. Provide coaching and mentorship to managers and new leaders, supporting leadership development and succession planning initiatives. Align HR strategies and initiatives with overall business goals, supporting change management efforts and the rollout of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS). Handle HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, record keeping, and ensuring compliance through automated processes to streamline routine tasks. Lead health, safety, and compliance efforts, including training, incident reporting, and claims management, with bilingual safety content maintained and enhanced through AI tools. Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation across HR workflows to improve efficiency, data visibility, and decision-making. Implement and scale AI-driven recruiting and HR processes, advocating for technology-enabled ways of working and driving adoption across teams. Collaborate with IT and external partners to develop and deploy innovative solutions that support organizational growth and operational excellence.
