Fauve, an executive search firm, is recruiting a Senior HRBP for its client Glencore to support the growth of their operations.

THE POSITION :

We are currently recruiting for the position of Senior HRBP, who will have the following main responsibilities:

Support Organizational Change Management by facilitating restructurings and organizational change. Drive culture and transformation initiatives that support and reinforce the department’s alignment with broader group initiatives. Monitor legislative changes and continually review and update policies and procedures to maintain compliance. In partnership with the Regional & Global Talent Acquisition team, support the end‑to‑end recruitment process to ensure the timely hiring of qualified talent. Ensure that all HR administrative functions carried out by the global HR services team comply with applicable employment laws, regulations, and internal HR policies and procedures. Collaborate with the global HR services teams to ensure accurate input and maintenance of employee records in accordance with data protection regulations and company standards. Identify and support the implementation of fit-for-purpose Learning and Development programs, leveraging group initiatives where appropriate. Lead the deployment and promotion of the global learning platform, Advance, in Canada. Provide guidance and coaching to managers on handling employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, improvement plans, and disciplinary actions, ensuring a consistent and respectful approach aligned with company values and legal requirements. Oversee the accurate and timely submission of internal and external HR reports, audits, and regulatory filings as required. Roll out performance management processes, tools, and resources, ensuring they are applied consistently. Partner with line managers to implement development solutions—such as Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and succession planning—while actively encouraging employee participation in shaping their growth.

THE PROFILE :

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development, or related field. Professional designation is beneficial. 10–15 years post-qualification experience in a relevant generalist HR environment with Corporate Office exposure. Ability to influence stakeholders and create collaboration and synergies. Knowledge of Canadian legislative frameworks. Experience in the mining or trading industry is preferred. Languages : Fluency in English (written and spoken). Knowledge of French (written and spoken) is desirable. Position based in Toronto, 100% on site Executive presence with effective influencing and stakeholder management skills. Flexible and resilient. High level of personal credibility. Self-motivated, comfortable being a change agent.
