We help women rebuild confidence, reconnect to possibility, and step into their next chapter. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Employment Consultant to join our growing team.
Position Summary As an Employment Consultant, you will support women in identifying goals, overcoming barriers, building confidence, and moving toward meaningful employment and career opportunities. You will provide one-to-one employment support, coaching, encouragement, resources, and accountability—helping women feel safe, seen, supported, and empowered.
Key Responsibilities Client Support & Employment Services Work with clients one-on-one to develop action plans aligned with their employment goals. Guide and support clients through their service plans, helping them connect with training and programs within Oxford County. Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with Oxford County Ontario Works (OW) and Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) Case Managers to ensure wraparound supports. Assisting with resumes, cover letters, interview preparation, job search strategies and career exploration. Use respectful communication and effective interviewing techniques to build trust and encourage action plan development and follow-through. Meet regularly with clients to review needs, update action plans, and coordinate wraparound supports. Building trusting, judgment-free relationships with clients and community partners. Use electronic scheduling and case management software (Windows, Microsoft 365, CaMS, WEdata). Assist with promoting workshops, services, and employment-related opportunities.
Qualifications Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds with empathy and professionalism. Experience in customer service, administration, employment services, social services, or community support is an asset. Knowledge of community resources and employment services is an asset. A current satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Criminal Check is required. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

(workdays could be flexible) Hourly wage: $24.00 – $26.00. Primarily office-based with occasional community outreach and event participation.
