Position Summary NRI Industrial Sales is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR & Admin Coordinator to support the Company's day-to-day human resources and administrative operations, while assisting with the execution of special projects and corporate initiatives. Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Affairs and working closely with the HR team, the successful candidate will support recruitment, onboarding and offboarding activities, coordinate employee programs and corporate events, and provide administrative and project support across multiple departments. This role offers exposure to a broad range of HR, administrative, and operational responsibilities within a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources ● Coordinate recruitment activities, candidate communications, interview scheduling, onboarding and offboarding processes, and maintain accurate employee records and HR databases. ● Assist in maintaining and updating onboarding materials, HR documentation, SOPs, policies, procedures, and forms to ensure alignment with company practices. ● Coordinate and support corporate events, team-building activities, employee recognition programs, and other company initiatives that support culture and employee experience. ● Support the administration of the Company's Health & Safety Program, participate as a member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC).
Administration ● Provide administrative support to HR and various departments, assisting with business operations, special projects, reporting, presentations, correspondence, and other administrative initiatives as required. ● Coordinate office operations and facility-related matters, including liaising with property management, vendors, and service providers, ensuring employees have the resources, equipment, and workspace support required to perform their roles effectively. ● Coordinate travel arrangements, business meetings, accommodations, and company events, including booking and managing business travel as required. ● Manage administrative documentation, internal communications, company-wide announcements, corporate brand materials, and related inventory. ● Respond to employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, and procedures and support HR and administrative projects as business needs evolve.
Qualifications ● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field. ● 2+ years of experience in human resources, administration, or a related role is preferred.
Skills ● Excellent organizational, project coordination, and time management skills. ● Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). ● Strong attention to detail and accuracy. ● Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ● Comfortable conducting research, analyzing information, and summarizing findings. ● Problem-solving mindset, initiative, and a proactive approach to work. ● Experience with HR information systems and/or business software platforms is an asset (e.g., ADP, BambooHR, HubSpot, Asana).
