Public Outreach is looking for a rockstar to spearhead the administration and efficient organization of teams abroad from Canada! Working alongside our small but mighty Admin & Logistics team, you'll play a key role in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly while supporting teams across the United Kingdom.

Based in Canada, you'll help build our newest international market. Backed by more than 20 years of experience growing successful face-to-face fundraising programs across North America, Public Outreach combines the excitement of international expansion with the stability of an established organization. Best of all, you'll support nonprofit partners creating meaningful change around the world.

This role offers many of the opportunities and challenges of joining a start-up. As we establish our UK operations, you can expect a fast-paced environment where systems, processes, and strategies are continually refined. We're looking for someone who enjoys testing new ideas, sharing feedback, and helping shape what works best in a new market.

Because this role involves regular collaboration with our UK team, availability for early morning shifts is essential. Candidates who can work early hours in the Eastern or Atlantic time zones will be given priority. Overview Of Job Duties:

People Administration Navigate and triage incoming support inquiries from staff and operations leaders to respond or reassign as needed Coordinate welcome packages for new staff Manage inventory and distribution of client materials: tracking, shipping, coordinating w/teams Prepare and maintain documents, reports, and internal trackers Order and track office supplies and expenses Responding to basic payroll inquiries Maintain and update employee files Prepare expense reports on behalf of operations and submit them for approval Assist with remote coordination of occasional maintenance and facilities-related needs Arranging and tracking mandatory training sessions for staff, including compliance and health and safety requirements

Recruitment logistics Support interview scheduling with Evolution Recruitment candidates and PO UK interviewers Manage reference check coordination and chase-ups Prepare and distribute onboarding pack assembly for new staff (welcome materials, kit list, first-day instructions) Maintain the candidate tracker (status, next steps, decisions logged)

Equipment and field logistics Manage equipment dispatch from supplier to fundraisers, and across markets, including local shipping coordination (when possible) Manage equipment return logistics for departing staff Manage equipment inventory tracking and lost/damaged/stolen equipment follow-up as appropriate Support securing branded clothing and distribution

Travel logistics Support travel and accommodation booking for national and international travel Support venue booking for in-person training sessions, team meetings, and all-hands events Support meeting room and co-working space coordination

Requirements: Ability to work early shifts (beginning at 6 or 7 AM EST) Passionate about spreadsheets and/or a fast learner who’s not afraid of Excel/Google Sheets Intermediate-to-advanced understanding of Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Calendars, Google Sheets, etc) Must be able to work independently and self-manage tasks Must be able to identify and iterate on workflows Must be comfortable working in a fully remote context without the possibility of attending an office Must have good internet and phone connections Must be able to speak and write fluent English

Qualifications: 1-2 years of administrative experience, 1 year of Customer Service experience preferred Solution-oriented problem solver Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Excellent phone and email etiquette Strong data entry skills with a record of high accuracy Strong attention to detail Demonstrated ability to manage priorities Demonstrated ability to work independently Ability to effectively coordinate multiple tasks and strictly adhere to deadlines Excellent documentation and project-tracking skills Positive attitude with the ability to thrive in a stressful working environment Must be able to lift up to 15 kilos (essential functions include large package handling)
