DISABILITY MANAGEMENT ADVISOR

Reporting to the Regional Manager, Disability Management, the Disability Management Advisor (DMA) is responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of the Disability Management program for an assigned area in Northern Health (NH). The DMA provides case management services that encompass assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating, monitoring and evaluating options available to meet an individual’s health needs. This includes promoting return to work efforts, early identification of disability claims for coordination of services, and developing modified/alternate work opportunities to mitigate absences due to occupational and non-occupational injury/illness. Along with other members of the WH&S team, ensures integration of services that promote the highest level of physical and mental health for staff.
Starting salary will be approximately from $76,111 to $95,138 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.
