Role Description The Human Resources Manager is a full-time, on-site role located in Etobicoke, ON. This position is responsible for overseeing recruitment including services provided by third party agencies, onboarding, performance management, and payroll. Daily tasks include managing HR policies and procedures, supporting managers with employee relations issues and ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company standards. The Human Resources Manager will coordinate training and development initiatives, administer compensation and benefits programs, and maintain accurate HR records and documentation. The role also involves partnering with leadership to support organizational planning, driving employee engagement initiatives, and fostering an inclusive, respectful workplace culture.
Qualifications Strong skills in talent acquisition and recruitment, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing, and selection. Experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management, with the ability to coach managers and team members. Knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation in Ontario, and experience ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Ability to manage HR administration, including record-keeping, benefits and payroll administration, and reporting. Demonstrated skills in training and development, including identifying learning needs and coordinating or delivering HR-related training. Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to build trust across diverse teams. Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple priorities. Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain environments is an asset. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; CHRP/CHRL designation
