About the role
Location: Toronto, ON Work Mode: Hybrid (4 days in the office) Key Responsibilities Lead the design and architecture of custom applications using Workday Extend, ensuring smooth integration with Workday. Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and turn them into technical designs and specifications. Develop secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions within the Workday platform. Provide guidance on best practices and ensure solutions follow Workday standards. Collaborate with Workday Functional Consultants, Developers, and Project Managers to deliver successful projects. Review code, provide technical support, and ensure development standards are followed. Stay up to date with new Workday Extend features, product updates, and industry trends. Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and enhance existing applications. Mentor junior developers and architects while promoting continuous learning within the team. Qualifications 5+ years of experience with Workday Integrations. 2+ years of experience developing applications using Workday Extend (formerly Workday Cloud Platform). Strong knowledge of Workday HCM, Financials, or other Workday modules. Experience designing and building scalable cloud-based applications. Strong understanding of Workday APIs, data models, and security. Experience with REST and SOAP web services. Proficiency in JavaScript, XSLT, Workday Studio, and EIBs. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Skills Workday certification in Workday Extend or another relevant Workday certification. Familiarity with Agile or other software development methodologies. Experience in client-facing consulting or technical advisory roles.
