Internal title: Director, Strategic Advisory

The mission of the Director, Strategic Advisory is to lead a portfolio of high-impact client engagements shaping strategic outcomes across industries at scale, while contributing to the broader Human Experience team. With expertise in change management, organizational culture and leadership transformation, and ICF credentials in professional coaching, you will partner with senior leaders across functions, practices, and business units to guide clients, while building the people and standards that enable your part of the practice to deliver consistently. You will lead and develop the team members who report to you, provide input on organizational design and business planning for the practice, and help resolve day-to-day challenges across the workstreams you oversee.

Engagement Delivery: Successful execution of multiple key engagements ensuring delivery excellence, client satisfaction, and profitable outcomes while managing scope, timelines, and resources across projects, markets, geographies, and client contexts.

Business Development: Revenue growth through strategic business development activities, including leading proposal development, creating and scoping high-impact solutions, and delivering compelling presentations to prospective clients.

Change Management & Culture Transformation: Design and implementation of change management and culture transformation strategies that enable sustainable organizational change, resulting in measurable improvements in employee engagement and change adoption across markets.

Team Leadership: Direct people leadership of high-performing team members reporting to this role, with accountability for their performance, development, and growth. Provide input to the Senior Director on team structure, resourcing needs, and capability gaps across the broader HX team.

Leadership Strategy & Organizational Coaching: Design and implementation of comprehensive strategies that strengthen leadership capabilities and successful execution of organizational coaching strategy efforts for clients by drawing on ICF credentials (PCC preferred), in collaboration with the coaching delivery team.

Strategic Thought Leadership: Collaborate with colleagues to develop insights, frameworks, thought pieces, and case studies that strengthen the practice’s market positioning.

Engagement Delivery: Demonstrated ability to oversee complex client engagements from scoping through execution, managing resources and quality assurance across multiple workstreams, markets, and stakeholder groups, identifying executive and client alignment risks and resistance points and developing targeted mitigation strategies.

Business Development & Solution Design: Skilled at identifying opportunities, leading proposal development, designing compelling solutions, and delivering persuasive presentations to contribute to revenue growth.

Change Management & Culture Transformation: Expertise in change management methodologies and culture transformation practices, with a track record of designing and executing strategies that drive measurable improvements in employee experience and business outcomes across complex, multi-market organizations.

Organizational Perspective: Ability to see patterns across engagements and workstreams and translate them into useful input for business planning and team structure decisions.

People Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, manage performance, and develop team members, including setting goals, delegating meaningful ownership, and being accountable for their results.

Leadership Strategy & Organizational Coaching: Possess professional coaching credentials (ICF, level PCC preferred) with the ability to develop and support leadership transformation programs and coaching strategy within complex organizations at scale.

Impact & Influence: Proven ability to coach and mentor, fostering collaboration and high performance, and to influence peers and leaders outside this role's direct authority.

Strategic Client Partnership: Strong relationship management skills, building trusted advisor relationships with clients and stakeholders and influencing decision-making.

Human-Centered Strategic Thinking: Advanced ability to apply human-centered design principles to organizational challenges, diagnose root causes, and develop innovative strategies that balance business objectives with human needs.

Thought Leadership & Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex ideas into compelling thought leadership and contribute to thepractice’s market positioning.

Language Capabilities: (Preferred) Demonstrated ability to operate in both written and spoken Spanish with professional level proficiency.
Compensation: The expected base salary compensation for this role is $136,330.40 to $177,217.20 CAD annually.
