The Benefits Coordinator is responsible for the benefits administration, employee inquiries, vendor coordination, and HRIS data maintenance to ensure employees have a smooth and supported benefits experience across multiple jurisdictions. This role supports the delivery of compliant, scalable, and employee-focused benefits operations. The role partners closely with People & Culture, Payroll, HRIS, Finance, and external providers to maintain efficient benefits processes, support data integrity, and enhance the employee experience through effective program administration and operational excellence. This position plays a key role in supporting benefits governance, reporting, compliance activities, and ongoing process improvement initiatives aligned with organizational growth and workforce needs.

We believe that human progress is invaluable, but it should be done in the right way – responsibly, sustainably and having a positive impact on the communities we operate in. 0–2 years of HR, benefits administration, or related experience; recent HR graduates with internship or co-op experience are welcome to apply · Basic familiarity with employee benefits concepts) in the US and/or Canada · Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines · Experience working with HRIS platforms such as HiBob, ADP, or similar systems · Strong understanding of benefits processes, employee data management, and confidentiality requirements · Experience supporting benefits reconciliations, reporting, and vendor coordination · Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-country environment · Strong communication and stakeholder management skills · Advanced Excel and reporting skills considered an asset · Ability to identify operational inefficiencies and support scalable process improvements · Experience supporting global or multi-jurisdictional programs is considered an asset The Benefits coordinator is responsible for: · Administering employee benefits programs including enrollments, life events, terminations, and plan changes · Managing day-to-day benefits operations and responding to employee and manager inquiries related to benefits programs and policies · Maintaining accurate employee benefits records and ensure data integrity across HR and payroll systems · Supporting benefits reconciliation activities with Payroll and Finance teams to ensure accurate deductions and reporting · Assisting with compliance reporting and regulatory requirements related to employee benefits programs · Supporting HR systems configuration and testing related to benefits administration and integrations · Generating and maintaining benefits reporting, metrics, and analytics for internal stakeholders · Assist with the annual renewal process including data gathering and materials preparation At IREN, we offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package designed to support your health, well-being, and long-term success. - Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and market data for the region.
