Job Description Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition & Campus Recruitment Coordinator provides support across both campus recruitment and talent acquisition programs. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end campus recruitment process, coordinating student placements, serving as the primary point of contact for schools and students, and supporting recruitment administration, onboarding, and pre-employment activities across the organization. The successful candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Human Resources graduate looking to gain experience in both Talent Acquisition and Campus Recruitment. This role will be located at our Markham Ontario head office. Extendicare offers a hybrid working environment. This is a 12 month contract opportunity. What You Will Do: Campus Recruitment & Student Programs Coordinate the administration of student placements across the organization. Serve as the primary point of contact for student, school, and placement-related inquiries. Build and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, and educational partners. Coordinate participation in career fairs, information sessions, and other campus recruitment events. Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for campus and student hiring, including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, offer administration, and onboarding. Partner with hiring leaders to support student hiring requirements and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Track student placements and maintain accurate records and reporting. Support activities that promote Extendicare's employer brand to students and new graduates. Talent Acquisition Coordination Post job opportunities and support recruitment activities across the organization. Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communications. Maintain accurate candidate records within recruitment systems. Support onboarding and pre-employment activities, including document collection, background checks, and employment-related paperwork. Monitor shared inboxes and respond to inquiries in a timely manner. Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team and assist with recruitment projects as required What you bring to the role: Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned responsibilities. Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to build positive working relationships with students, schools, candidates, and internal stakeholders. Strong customer service mindset and professional approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and a willingness to learn.
