Volunteer Coordinator
Are you passionate about bringing people together and making a difference in your community? We are looking for a dedicated and organized volunteer to take on the role of Volunteer Coordinator with our MADD Canada Chapter.
As the Volunteer Coordinator, you will serve as the volunteer leader for a dynamic grassroots chapter, helping to build and support a strong volunteer team. You will work collaboratively with fellow Board members, community partners, and the MADD Canada National Office to support our mission of stopping impaired driving and supporting victims of this violent crime.
Responsibilities Include
Recruit, welcome, and support chapter volunteers. Help coordinate volunteer activities, events, and initiatives. Communicate with volunteers and ensure they have the resources and information needed to succeed. Work with the Board and National Office to support chapter goals and programs. Help create a positive and engaging volunteer experience.
No previous experience is required-training and ongoing support will be provided. This is a rewarding opportunity to develop leadership skills while making a meaningful impact in your community.
Commitment: Minimum one-year commitment, including regular participation in chapter activities and meetings.
Skills Required
You possess strong leadership, communication and networking skills. You are a people person; creative and a team player. You have prior volunteer or professional experience coordinating and managing volunteers (preferred, but not required). A certificate or diploma in volunteer management (preferred, but not required). You have prior experience serving on a board of directors (preferred, but not required).
Skills Gained/Related Careers: Age: 18-30, 31-54, 55+ Time Commitment:
Flexible Hours
Hours are varied.
