The Opportunity We’re looking for a strong people leader to step into our Consulting Team Lead role—guiding a team of Consultants and Analysts while translating strategy into consistent, high-quality client delivery.

Reporting to the Director of Consulting Services, you will be a hands-on leader who supports team development and performance while building the structure and processes that keep work flowing efficiently. You’ll oversee team priorities, coordinate across internal stakeholders, and lead the resolution of client and internal escalations—ensuring every engagement reflects a consistent, high-quality consulting experience.

In this role, you will play a key part in shaping team culture, strengthening client relationships, and driving operational excellence. Your leadership will help create an environment where people feel supported, informed, and empowered to deliver their best work every day.

What You’ll Do Translate strategic priorities into clear day-to-day plans, processes, and accountability across the team Lead, coach, and develop a team of Consultants and Analysts, fostering a strong performance-driven and collaborative culture Own team workflow by prioritizing and assigning work, tracking deliverables, and removing barriers to ensure deadlines are met Build team capability by strengthening problem-solving, decision-making, and knowledge sharing Manage client and internal escalations, driving timely resolution with clear and effective communication Identify process gaps and implement practical improvements to tools, templates, and workflows Monitor service quality and consistency across client engagements, supporting risk management and compliance practices Maintain a small client portfolio to stay connected to the client experience and model best practices

What You Bring Proven experience in a people leadership role, with a strong focus on coaching, accountability, and team development 5+ years of experience in Group Benefits and/or Group Retirement Strong judgment and confidence in managing priorities, making decisions, and navigating complex or time-sensitive situations Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear direction and constructive feedback Experience managing escalations and driving appropriate, timely resolution Highly organized, with strong delegation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities Life License (LLQP) CEBS designation (completed or in progress) Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and experience working with CRM or workflow tools
