Position Overview Reporting to the Staffing Manager, the Technical Recruiter will manage the full recruitment lifecycle for highly specialized engineering, IT, and technical roles within the power, nuclear, utilities, and energy sectors. This position is ideal for an experienced agency recruiter who excels at sourcing niche talent, building strong candidate relationships, and managing multiple requisitions in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. The successful candidate will be highly skilled in advanced talent sourcing strategies, including Boolean search techniques, LinkedIn, industry databases, and networking initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Development Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify qualified engineering, IT, and technical professionals. Post and manage job advertisements across job boards, industry-specific websites, social media platforms, and professional networks. Utilize advanced sourcing techniques, including Boolean search strings, LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, and industry databases. Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future client requirements. Attend industry events, networking functions, and recruitment initiatives to strengthen market presence and candidate engagement. Candidate Screening & Assessment Review resumes and applications against technical requirements and client expectations. Conduct initial phone and virtual interviews to assess technical qualifications, experience, and cultural fit. Coordinate candidate assessments, client interviews, and reference checks. Present qualified candidates to clients with detailed assessments and recommendations. Recruitment Process Management Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from sourcing through offer acceptance and onboarding. Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process. Prepare offer letters and coordinate employment documentation. Support onboarding activities, including background checks, security clearances, and client-specific requirements. Maintain accurate records and candidate documentation Manage candidate communications, including interview scheduling, status updates, rejection notifications, and application acknowledgements. Client & Candidate Relationship Management Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to understand hiring requirements and changing workforce needs. Deliver a positive, professional, and transparent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Build strong relationships with candidates, clients, and industry contacts. Contribute to CPUS's reputation as a trusted staffing partner within the power and nuclear sectors. Qualifications Experience Minimum 4 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience within engineering, IT, energy, utilities, industrial, manufacturing, nuclear, or related sectors. Previous experience working in a staffing agency or client-facing recruitment environment is strongly preferred. Experience recruiting for specialized technical roles and managing multiple concurrent requisitions. Power and nuclear industry recruiting experience is considered a strong asset. Education Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Required Competencies Strong sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills. Advanced proficiency in Boolean search techniques and talent-mapping strategies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities. Ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results. Professional judgment, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information. Technical Skills Proficiency with Juicebox, Pin.com, and major online job boards for candidate sourcing, talent mapping, and recruitment activities. Experience utilizing recruitment systems, candidate databases, and sourcing tools to manage candidate pipelines, track recruitment activities, and support full-cycle talent acquisition processes. Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Knowledge of recruitment metrics and reporting.
