Salary: Grade 7 from: £41,292 to £44,762 inclusive of London Weighting with potential to progress to £48,557 per annum, inclusive of London Weighting, through sustained exceptional contribution.

The role is based in the Human Resources Department. This role provides a comprehensive management information reporting and people data analysis service to inform and support the University’s people and organisational strategies.

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent and have an understanding of relevant legislation, frameworks and good practice relating to people data and reporting.

You will be highly proficient in extracting data from IT systems into Excel and using that data to produce summary reports, charts, and dashboards, using software such as R, Python, KNIME or similar. You will be a confident user of advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables.

In addition to strong Excel skills, you will have experience of managing, analysing, and interpreting large and complex data sets, and providing clear commentary and recommendations based on your findings. Excellent written communication skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, are essential, as is the ability to work independently and manage conflicting deadlines.
