Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, eLearning and Development, the incumbent provides leadership and support in the development, delivery and just-in-time support of R3 training solutions for employees and Portal Pathfinders. Training includes Thesis Student Management (Thesis SM), Thesis Student Portal, and Infosilem Academic/Exam and supporting technologies and systems used at the College. The training delivery is expected to be dynamic and flexible in order to support learner adoption and usage of the College’s new Student Information System.

The Incumbent Is Responsible For

Identifying, assessing, and analyzing the technology training needs of Thesis SM users and learners in support of the College’s R3 Change Management plan; Planning, developing and implementing various training program initiatives for R3 technology ecosystem users and learners, Recruits, trains, and supports Portal Pathfinders who support Learner adoption of Thesis Student Portal, Monitoring and evaluating program performance by conducting program evaluations and client surveys and using performance metrics and developing program improvement strategies for implementation, Leading and facilitating the onsite delivery of various systems training initiatives, Providing on-site support in the R3 Training Suite at Ottawa Campus to users practising use of systems.

Required Qualifications

Minimum three (3) year diploma/degree in Information Technology related diploma/degree or relevant work experience in enterprise systems OR diploma/degree in Business, Communications, or English;

Minimum Five (5) Years Experience In

Experience and demonstrated knowledge of College administrative processes within the Registrar’s Office or Academic Areas; Experience in the development, delivery, assessment and of Systems Training solutions; Proficiency with current IT platform/enterprise solutions such as Student Information Systems, WordPress, MS Office 365, Learning Management Systems, and emerging workplace technologies; Experience working as a team member in a dynamic, client-centered environment.
