This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Conseiller(ère) bilingue en prévention based in Canada. This role is centered on supporting organizations in improving workplace health and safety performance through proactive field-based consulting. You will work directly with client members of prevention mutual groups, helping them identify workplace risks and implement effective corrective action plans aligned with regulatory requirements. The position involves regular travel within the Montréal and Outaouais regions, offering a dynamic mix of on-site assessments, advisory work, and client relationship management. You will act as a trusted advisor, promoting prevention culture and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards. The role also includes contributing to program development and supporting clients in implementing structured SST initiatives. Accountabilities In this role, you will support clients in strengthening their occupational health and safety practices while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal objectives: Visit client workplaces to promote health and safety practices and identify potential risks in operational environments Develop and implement prevention programs tailored to client needs and regulatory obligations Advise clients on legal requirements and occupational health and safety best practices Contribute to the achievement of departmental performance targets, both qualitative and quantitative Support business development efforts by promoting services and identifying growth opportunities Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent delivery of prevention services and client support Provide guidance and recommendations based on field observations and regulatory frameworks Participate in training delivery or client support initiatives related to workplace safety programs when required Requirements The ideal candidate has strong expertise in occupational health and safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in the field: 2–5 years of experience in occupational health and safety (SST) or a related field Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, industrial relations, or equivalent college diploma (SST, administration, HR, or related field) Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and prevention practices Professional bilingualism in French and English, required for regular interaction with clients and internal stakeholders Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle for frequent travel within assigned regions Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and ability to manage multiple field assignments Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust with clients Ability to analyze complex situations and recommend practical, compliant solutions Benefits Competitive salary aligned with experience and market standards Comprehensive health and wellness benefits package Retirement savings and financial security programs Mileage reimbursement or travel support for field-based work Flexible remote/field-based work arrangement Opportunities for professional development and training in occupational health and safety Exposure to diverse client environments and meaningful on-the-ground impact Collaborative and purpose-driven work culture focused on prevention and wellbeing
