Bayshore is seeking a dynamic individual to join our group of Recruitment professionals in the role of Talent Acquisition Specialist. What to expect: The Talent Acquisition Specialist (TAS) is responsible for sourcing and selecting top talent to be employees at Bayshore HealthCare. This position works collaboratively with hiring mangers to ensure use of innovative and creative strategies to attract talent to our organization. This process includes a comprehensive market assessment and target recruitment tactics.
Primary Responsibilities Partner with senior leaders and managers effectively to anticipate the staffing needs of the organization. Act as a leader in recruitment and come up with proactive and innovative strategies to attract and develop a pipeline of talented candidates for both regulated and unregulated health care professional and administrative roles. Represent and promote Bayshore’s brand and value proposition at external recruitment events in a positive and professional manner. Oversee and interact closely with the HR Coordinator(s) to ensure new hire administration and orientation is completed in alignment with recruitment priorities. Align with the HR Business Partner on the national diversity and HR strategies in order to integrate this in your sourcing and recruitment strategy. Conduct reference checks, background checks and vulnerable sector screen checks. Conduct a comprehensive market assessment to ensure that wear effectively utilizing our recruitment resources. Participate on workforce planning teams and work to anticipate the hiring needs of each site and service. Create a comprehensive recruitment plan to meet those needs. Implement and deliver on tactics and goals identified in the recruitment plan. Responsible for the management of day-to-day operations of recruitment. Strategic planning, development of targeted sourcing strategies, interview and selection. Creating an effective recruitment strategy and pipelines to access top level talent, while delivering timely and effective customer service and support to internal hiring managers. Education & Experience: University Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management Registered Professional Recruiter designation and CHRP certification is preferred 3 to 5 years of recruitment experience, 2 of which were in a high volume recruitment setting Preference given to candidates who are proficient in spoken and written French. Experience with Microsoft Office software applications. Knowledge of employment law related to recruitment. Excellent technological skills. Experience using behavior based interview techniques. Ability to travel to community organizations, schools and career fairs for presentations as required Other Skills and Abilities: A high energy, strategic, customer oriented and creative problem solver who thrives in an environment which encourages innovation and entrepreneurship. Demonstrates a highly collaborative approach and a strong sense of urgency. Open minded, flexible and adaptable with sound judgment and decision making skills. Excellent command of the English language including verbal, written and presentation skills. Solid organizational, multi-tasking and negotiation skills. Self-motivated, enjoys taking initiative, able to work independently and manage stress. Confident, results-oriented and able to demonstrate leadership and team effectiveness with a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, compassion, integrity and ethics at all times.
