About Red Chris Our Red Chris Mine, located in the heart of Northern British Columbia on the traditional territory of the Tahltan Nation. A short distance from Iskut and Dease Lake, Our fly-in, fly-out site offers access from various points across British Columbia and Alberta. Red Chris currently operates as an open-pit copper and gold mine with a promising future to transition to a high-value underground block cave operation. As part of our team you will Deliver and support enterprise HR programs within the business Manage employee data and HRIS transactions with accuracy Partner with the HR Service Center to execute people services Support change management initiatives and workforce transitions Provide guidance on policies, procedures, and employment standards Assist in employee relations including conflict resolution and investigations Track HR metrics, analyze trends, and prepare reports Prerequisites for your success in this role Minimum 3 years of well-rounded HR generalist experience Experience administering disability management processes Knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills Ability to manage data, systems, and reporting with accuracy Demonstrated capability in problem-solving and process improvement Collaborative mindset with the ability to build trusted relationships Mining industry experience preferred Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required Your work environment This is an on-site role requiring regular presence at the assigned business location You will work as an individual contributor within a broader People team Partner closely with operational leaders and cross-functional stakeholders Operate in a fast-paced environment requiring structure, responsiveness, and adaptability At Newmont, our commitment to diversity and inclusion ensures that everyone can work to their full potential, free from discrimination, while respecting the cultures, religions, and governance of the regions in which we operate. The expected salary range for this role is CA$85,400.00 - 113,900.00 with an additional Short-Term Incentive of 15% . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s pay history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about pay history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
