COSCO SHIPPING Lines (Canada) Inc. is a leading global ocean carrier with a rich history in the Canadian market. The company is launching a brand-new operation center, COSCO SHIPPING NAOC ? North America Operation Center, in Toronto, and we are seeking an experienced, hands-on, and proactive Human Resources Supervisor to lay the foundation of the new team and oversee Human Resources functions for the operation center. The position will also work closely with local leadership and head office corporate standards.

This is a full-time position based on 37.5 hours per week reporting to the manager of the General Management Department of NAOC.

*Key Responsibilities *

• Supervise full-cycle recruitment, onboard and offboarding processes
• Oversee all HR administrative functions
• Provide necessary information to Accounting and General Management Department in head office for payroll coordination and benefits administration
• Supervise and resolve employee relations issues
• Coordinate and maintain annual performance review process
• Act as bridge between management and employees, ensuring clear communication
• Collaborate with head office to implement company policies and ensure compliance with employment standards and application legislation

*Skills/Requirement *

• Bachelor?s degree or Diploma in human resources
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on recruitment, employee relations and HR administration
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Well-versed in employment standards and applicable legislation
• Strong judgment, discretion, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skill, ability to prioritize and multitask
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information professionally
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
