Role Description The Human Resources Assistant is a part-time, on-site role located in Prince Albert, SK. This position supports day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes, and updating information in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). The role helps coordinate benefits documentation, training schedules, and employee communications, while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in all HR activities. The Human Resources Assistant also responds to routine employee inquiries, prepares basic reports, and supports HR leadership with administrative tasks and special projects. Qualifications Strong Human Resources (HR) and HR Management skills, with the ability to support core HR processes and procedures. Proficiency with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and comfort working with databases and digital records. Knowledge of Benefits Administration, including assisting with enrollment, changes, and employee information tracking. Experience supporting Training activities such as scheduling, tracking attendance, and maintaining training records. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a confidential environment. Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with staff at all levels. Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email) and office equipment. Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Understanding of public sector or law enforcement environments is an asset.
