Role Description The HR Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in North Vancouver, BC. This position is responsible for overseeing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding. Day-to-day tasks include developing and implementing HR policies, advising leaders on employee relations, managing benefits and payroll coordination in partnership with finance, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company standards. The HR Manager will handle conflict resolution, support training and development initiatives, maintain accurate HR records, and contribute to workforce planning and organizational culture. This role regularly collaborates with management and staff on-site to foster a safe, inclusive, and high-performing workplace. Qualifications Experience in core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations. Knowledge of employment laws and regulations in British Columbia and familiarity with HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization. Ability to manage HR administration, including record keeping, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and reporting. Proven experience supporting management on initiatives and policies. Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the capacity to handle multiple priorities. Proficiency with Quickbooks and general office software (e.g., MS Office, spreadsheets, ADP). Ability to work legally in Canada and commute daily to the North Vancouver, BC location.
