About the role

IREN is a vertically integrated AI Cloud provider, delivering large-scale data centers and GPU clusters for AI training and inference. IREN’s platform is underpinned by its expansive portfolio of grid-connected land and power in renewable-rich regions across North America, Europe and APAC. With 100% renewable energy, we build, own and operate our data centers and take pride in being at the forefront of sustainable solutions for the ever-evolving applications of high-performance compute. We believe that human progress is invaluable, but it should be done in the right way – responsibly, sustainably and having a positive impact on the communities we operate in.

The People Analytics & Governance Analyst focuses on HR systems governance, data integrity, reporting infrastructure, workflow automation, and scalable process design. The Senior HRIS Analyst supports enterprise reporting, compliance requirements, operational efficiency, and broader People transformation initiatives through effective system configuration, process standardization, and data governance practices. This position plays a critical role in supporting organizational growth by enabling reliable workforce data, reducing manual administration, and improving operational visibility through technology and analytics.

  • 3–5 years in people analytics, HR reporting, or HR data governance (a blend across both is ideal)

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Data / Analytics, Business, or a related field

  • Strong analytical skills: data modeling, dashboard development, and BI tooling

  • Working knowledge of data governance, privacy, and HR compliance / audit requirements

  • Ability to communicate insight clearly to executive audiences

  • Comfort working with imperfect data and improving its quality over time

  • Multi-jurisdiction or multi-entity data experience an asset

  • Establish and maintain data governance standards, definitions, ownership, and data-quality rules across systems

  • Own audit and regulatory controls for people data, including compliance reporting and evidence of control effectiveness

  • Validate data integrity across integrations (notably payroll), confirming data moves correctly and completely

  • Define data-retention and privacy practices with People & Culture, Legal, and IT, accounting for multiple jurisdictions

  • Develop the data models and infrastructure that support workforce planning as analytics matures from reporting toward prediction

  • Build and maintain people analytics dashboards and the in-house reporting infrastructure

  • Produce executive- and board-level reporting, translating people data into clear, decision-ready insight

Compensation & Rewards

  • Competitive salary ($90,000 and $115,000/annum) finalized based on experience and impact
  • Short- and long-term incentive programs designed to reward both results and long term company success

Wellbeing & Benefits

  • Comprehensive extended health and dental coverage to keep you and your family supported
  • Three weeks of paid vacation to recharge, travel, or simply enjoy more life outside of work

Work Environment (Vancouver)

  • A modern hybrid model — collaborate in our Vancouver office Tuesday–Thursday, with flexibility the rest of the week
  • Casual, comfortable attire so you can bring your best self to work without the suit-and-tie
  • Access to an onsite, fully equipped gym to make wellness part of your workday
