Of course, you’re welcome to apply for jobs at ICBC whether or not you join a talent community.   We look forward to hearing from you!    Position Highlights   Payroll Services at Corporate Head Office in North Vancouver has a 6-month temporary opportunity for a dedicated Payroll Analyst to join their team.   The Payroll Analyst is responsible for full-cycle payroll processing, support, and service for union and non-union employees at ICBC under the direction of the Manager Payroll Services. Your previous experience, education, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a high volume, fast-paced environment with tight deadlines is the key to being successful.   Responsibilities:  

Accurate and timely preparation of payroll and time related transactions within strict time-sensitive deadlines; Investigates discrepancies and takes corrective action related to payments, refunds, or adjustments; Reconciliation of payroll accounts and financial reporting of statutory and non-statutory deductions and remittances; Resolves enquiries related to payroll and time issues.

    Position Requirements Requirements include:  

Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation from the National Payroll Institute or working towards the designation is an asset; 2 years’ experience in a large, full cycle payroll within a unionized environment; Equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered; Knowledge of payroll practices, statutory requirements and accounting practices; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines with high attention to detail; SAP/Success Factors payroll or other payroll software is an asset.

    Work arrangements defined:   

Hybrid 8 – you will work a minimum of 8 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically 2 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia.
