Someone who can balance strategy and execution, structure and flexibility, and data with real-world decision-making.If you like building things that actually get used, partnering with leaders, and making sense of complex compensation challenges—this is a role you’ll want to explore.What You'll Be DoingDesigning Compensation Programs That Actually WorkShape and evolve our base pay structures, job architecture, and incentive programs across Canada and the U.S.Build frameworks that work in a decentralized business (and don’t collapse under their own complexity)Keep us competitive externally and fair internallySupport our growing U.S. footprint with regionally relevant approachesOwning the Annual Compensation CycleLead merit and STIP cycles end-to-end (yes—you’re the one who makes it all come together)Build practical tools and models that HR and leaders actually usePartner with Finance to keep everything aligned, accurate, and on trackSupport executive-level compensation work when neededKeeping Us Compliant (and Ahead of It)Ensure pay equity compliance across Ontario, Quebec, and the U.S.Spot gaps before they become problems—and help fix themKeep documentation, audits, and standards clean and defensibleMaking Dayforce Work SmarterBe the go-to for compensation in DayforceConfigure cycles, maintain data integrity, and improve how everything flowsLook for ways to automate, simplify, and reduce manual workBeing a True Business PartnerSupport HRBPs and leaders with clear, practical guidance on compensation decisionsHelp navigate offers, promotions, and off-cycle adjustmentsTurn complex compensation concepts into simple, actionable adviceContinuously Improving How We WorkStreamline processes, reduce friction, and improve how compensation gets deliveredBuild better tools, better reporting, and better ways of workingHelp shape a compensation function that scales with the businessQualificationsWho We're Looking For7+ years of compensation experience (Canada + U.S.).Experience working in complex, multi-entity environments.Strong foundation in job evaluation, pay equity, and program design.Proven ability to run annual compensation cycles.Advanced Excel and analytical skills (you’re comfortable in the data).Dayforce experience is a strong asset.CCP, GRP, or similar designation is a bonus.Additional InformationWhat's in it for You?Be part of an industry that's more important than ever!Award winning safety culture.Hybrid work model.Supportive team environment with room to grow together.Employee Referral Program.We are growing!Certified as a Great Place to Work 2025-2026!Dexterra Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
