Reports to: Senior Manager, People & HR Analytics
Term: July 2026 to March 2027

Position Summary:

The People team is responsible for all human resources functions, including attracting, developing, supporting, and retaining a team of passionate employees who share our company values. The People Interns will participate in a full recruitment and onboarding cycle for new event staff team members and will experience various other HR initiatives such as HR systems administration, payroll, and other employee engagement activities. The People Interns will also support large scale staff scheduling, including availability updates, time-off requests, deployment changes, and maintaining staffing levels for events, as well as, assisting with the distribution and organization of uniforms for our part-time staff. This position will be required to work evening and weekend events as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administering scheduling and deployment changes, time-off requests, availability changes, etc. while maintaining appropriate staffing levels
  • Entering and completing all payroll requirements and processing timesheets as required
  • Support recruitment efforts by sourcing candidates, and managing our part-time job descriptions and postings
  • Manage logistics for the Event Staff job fair, including setup, communication and scheduling
  • Support recruitment and onboarding administration, including processing documentation, communication with candidates and tracking follow ups, and preparing welcome materials
  • Help manage wardrobe distribution for new hires and maintain uniform inventory records
  • Assist with upkeep of staff break and change rooms, including ensuring cleanliness on event days and maintaining updated communication boards
  • Preparing confirmation of employment letters
  • Participate in various projects and initiatives within the People department as assigned

You Must Have:

  • Current university student in their final year of study or recent university graduate in a related field of study
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated professionalism in presentation, conduct, and reliability
  • Strong work ethic and willing to go the extra mile
  • Eager to learn and take on new tasks and responsibilities
  • A strong understanding of and commitment to uphold our company values of discipline, respect, excellent, attitude, and mindset (DREAM)
  • Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends as required
