We are looking for an experienced family medicine clinic manager, with knowledge of FHG, FHO and/or Fee-for-Service (FFS) models, to help one of our clients set up and manage their first innovative family medicine clinic in downtown Toronto
. The role can be performed primarily remotely, but it would be useful for the person to be based in Toronto or the GTA, as occasional visits to the clinic will be required, particularly during the setup and launch stage

You will work closely with the clinic's management and operations teams to help establish the clinic from the ground up, implement efficient processes and technology, support physicians and administrative staff, and create an environment that provides an excellent experience for both patients and healthcare profession
als. YOUR RESPONSIBIL ITIESDuring the clinic setup and launch phase, you will help with:Setting up the administrative and operational structure of the c linicAdvising on adoption of best structure: FHG, FHO o r FFSSupporting physician onboa rdingSetting up EMR workflows and administrative proc essesEstablishing appointment scheduling, patient registration, recalls and referral proc essesHelping recruit, onboard and manage Medical Office Assistants ( MOAs)Developing policies, procedures, checklists and operating stan dardsCoordinating with physicians, management, pharmacies, laboratories and other healthcare partners where approp riateSupporting billing processes and ensuring administrative workflows facilitate accurate OHIP bi llingHelping establish systems for incoming faxes, results, referrals, forms and other clinical administr ationSupporting the launch and initial growth of the c
linic Once operational, you will help oversee the clinic's day-to-day management, incl uding:Managing and supporting MOAs and administrative staffMonitoring clinic workflows and identifying opportunities for impro vementSupporting physicians with operational and administrative issuesEnsuring patient enquiries and administrative tasks are handled effic ientlyMonitoring appointment availability, physician schedules and clinic ca pacitySupporting patient acquisition, rostering and retention initi ativesCoordinating physician onboarding and depa rturesMonitoring operational KPIs and producing simple management r eportsWorking with the operations team to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary administrative work for phys iciansHelping maintain a positive, professional and human-centred clinic c
