Pay Rate: $47.23–$57.58/hour, depending on experience Contract Length: 10 months Location: Langley, British Columbia (Hybrid)

Raise is currently hiring an Change Management Professional Level 1 on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada

Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.

Description

The Change Management Professional Level 1 supports organizational change initiatives by assisting with the planning, development, and delivery of change management activities for business and technology projects. Working under the guidance of senior change management professionals, this role helps prepare stakeholders for change through communications, training, stakeholder engagement, and adoption planning while ensuring projects are delivered safely, with quality, on time, and within budget.

The successful candidate is an organized, proactive, and collaborative professional with excellent communication skills and a passion for helping people successfully adopt change.

Responsibilities

Change Management Support

Assist in developing and implementing change management plans for organizational initiatives. Conduct current-state and future-state assessments to identify change impacts. Support stakeholder engagement activities across multiple business units. Apply change management methodologies and best practices to support process, system, and organizational changes. Monitor stakeholder readiness and recommend adjustments to change management plans. Prepare and deliver project status reports, metrics, and presentations for project stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communications

Support stakeholder analysis and maintain stakeholder engagement plans. Develop communications that effectively prepare employees for organizational change. Track communication effectiveness using surveys, databases, and reporting tools. Collaborate with project teams to ensure consistent messaging throughout project delivery. Assist with managing organizational resistance and change adoption activities.

Training & Learning

Gather and validate training requirements with project teams and business stakeholders. Design and develop training materials including presentations, job aids, guides, reference materials, and information briefs. Apply organizational standards, templates, and guidelines when developing training content. Coordinate and deliver training sessions or support subject matter experts during delivery. Evaluate training effectiveness and implement improvements based on participant feedback. Develop training sustainment plans and transition materials to business operations following project completion.

Reporting & Project Support

Prepare reports measuring stakeholder engagement, training effectiveness, and change adoption. Maintain project documentation and training materials. Support multiple concurrent change initiatives while meeting project timelines. Assist project teams with additional change management activities as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Arts, Science, Technology, Business, or a related discipline. Minimum 1 year of change management experience or equivalent. 1–2 years of experience designing, developing, and delivering training within a project environment. Strong understanding of change management principles and stakeholder engagement practices. Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Comfortable presenting and facilitating training sessions. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities. NICE TO HAVE (Assets) PROSCI Certification is considered an asset. Project Management experience or certification is an asset. Utility industry experience is considered an asset. Experience using Camtasia, Movie Maker, or other video editing software. Quick learner with strong technical aptitude. Self-starter with exceptional attention to detail. Experience developing training materials for technical or system implementation projects. Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Advanced English communication skills suitable for a professional environment. Additional Information

Local resources will typically work 1 day in the office and other days remotely (subject to change at clients discretion). Every contractor must supply their own Windows 11 Laptop computer for the duration of the assignment. Every contractor must supply their own “Smart Phone”. This is needed to gain access to the Organizations network.
