Pitt Meadows Plumbing and Mechanical Systems has been a leader in the industry for over 40 years. We specialize in pre-fabrication, modular systems and installation of large-scale residential, commercial, institutional, educational, and medical design-build plumbing and mechanical projects. We are currently looking for an HR & Recruitment Coordinator to join our team at our corporate office in Maple Ridge. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the HR & Recruitment Coordinator will:

Advise job applicants on employment requirements. Review candidate applications and contact potential applicants to arrange phone and in-person interviews. Conduct phone interviews and update hiring managers on candidates' status. Collect necessary documentation from candidates. Notify applicants of the results of the selection process. Advise managers and employees on policies and procedures. Perform filing and record-keeping duties. Maintain accurate and comprehensive personnel-related records. Ensure Health & Safety-related documents are uploaded to the employees’ files on Bamboo HR Locate files upon request, ensuring that private information is shared only with authorized parties. Coordinate employee orientation and training, including getting all necessary training certificates from new employees. Help to ensure organization-wide compliance with policies, procedures and applicable regulations through effective coaching and communications. Print, photocopy, and scan documents as required. Perform other duties as required.

Previous experience in the construction and/or manufacturing industry is required. Experience using Microsoft Office and other office-based productivity software is required. Familiarity with Bamboo HR or UKG is a strong asset. Previous experience with unionized environments is considered a strong asset. Work Conditions

Able to lift 25 pounds. The position is office-based. Travelling to sites and/or corporate events is required from time to time. Overtime as required. Compensation: $57,000 to 83,000/year + 5% RRSP + 100% Company-paid Health & Dental Benefits + Life Insurance + Health Spending Account + Corporate Phone + Tuition reimbursement.
