About the role
Job Description What is the opportunity? This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of advisor roles across our Digital & Personal Distribution network. As the owner of advisor channel role strategy, you will define the future-state vision for how advisor roles evolve to meet changing client expectations, digital innovation, and business priorities. Working at the intersection of business strategy, workforce transformation, and organizational design, you will influence executive decisions and lead strategic initiatives that strengthen the advisor channel ecosystem and drive long-term business success. What will you do? Define and execute the long-term strategy and evolution of advisor channel roles, aligning role design with enterprise priorities, client expectations, and business objectives. Serve as the strategic advisor to senior leaders on role strategy, workforce transformation, organizational design, and future workforce capabilities. Develop role architectures, capability frameworks, career pathways, performance management frameworks, and incentive strategies that support organizational outcomes. Lead cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution by partnering with channel leadership, Human Resources, Compensation, Learning, Analytics, Digital, and Transformation teams. Research emerging industry trends, competitive practices, and innovative workforce models to inform future role strategy and design. Leverage data, analytics, and business insights to identify opportunities and develop evidence-based strategic recommendations. Collaborate across distribution channels to identify opportunities for role alignment, simplification, and scalable design. Influence organizational direction by translating complex business challenges into practical, future-ready workforce strategies. What do you need to succeed? Must have: 5+ years of progressive experience in strategy, management consulting, organizational design, workforce transformation, operating model design, or a related discipline. Demonstrated success leading enterprise-scale strategic initiatives that influence business performance, workforce effectiveness, and client outcomes. Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies. Outstanding executive communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leadership and building alignment across complex organizations. Proven ability to lead through influence, navigate ambiguity, and drive transformational change across multiple stakeholder groups. Experience using data, market research, and competitive benchmarking to develop strategic recommendations and future-state business models. Nice to have: Experience within financial services, banking, wealth management, insurance, or another highly regulated industry. Experience supporting advisor, sales, service, or other client-facing distribution channels. Background in customer experience strategy, digital transformation, or enterprise strategy. Experience designing performance frameworks, incentive models, workforce capability strategies, or organizational structures. What’s in it for you?
