About the role
Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Recruitment Assistant to support our human resources team in sourcing, screening, and onboarding talented candidates. This role involves coordinating recruitment activities, managing applicant tracking systems, and assisting with talent acquisition strategies to ensure a seamless hiring process. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, familiarity with HRIS and ATS platforms, and a passion for building effective teams.
Duties
- Prepare and post notices and advertisements
- Collect and screen applicants
- Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment
- Review candidate inventories
- Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews
- Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates
- Notify applicants of results of selection process and prepare job offers
- Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
- Attend job fairs at various locations
Skills
- Strong communication skills for engaging with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems.
- Ability to conduct interviewing processes effectively and assess candidate fit.
- Research skills to identify industry trends and potential candidate pools.
- Computer and technology knowledge (MS Window, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Internet)

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
