Job Description: The Payroll and Benefits Technician is accountable for providing a timely, efficient and accurate Payroll/Benefit service to the staff of the Saskatchewan Health Authority.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience

  • One (1) year experience performing payroll & accounting functions  

Knowledge & Abilities

  • Typing speed of 55 wpm
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite  

Other Education & Training

  • Grade 12 plus a certificate in Accounting
  • classes in the Certified Management Accounting Program are an asset
  • Working with a unionized environment and interpreting CBA language is an asset
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
