This role Employment Hero, Canada is looking for a Senior VAR Partnerships Manager (SME Segment) focused on building a scalable reseller channel specifically targeting VAR and tech partners with Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) customers in Canada. This role prioritizes high-velocity partners, digital marketplaces, and turnkey enablement models. This is an individual contributor (IC) role with no direct people management responsibilities. Focus: High-velocity VARs, regional MSPs, and SME-focused solution providers. Your key focus areas will be SME Channel Recruitment: Recruit , Activate and Manage regional VARs and Managed Service Providers (MSPs) with large, existing SME customer footprints. Scalable Enablement: Training and digital toolkits for rapid partner activation. Volume Campaign Management: Partner with Marketing teams to launch low-touch, high-yield demand generation campaigns. Velocity Pipeline Management: Manage high-volume lead pipelines. Marketplace Expansion: Drive revenue through B2B cloud marketplaces (e.g., Microsoft, Sage, etc) favoured by SME buyers. For this role, you’ll also bring Experience & Background SME Market Expertise: 5+ years of experience managing channel ecosystems that sell to buyers with sub-1,000 employee counts. Program Automation: Proven ability to scale partner programs using PRM tools and Salesforce. Velocity Metrics: Deep understanding of high-volume sales cycles, average contract values (ACV), and ICP Match.
