The HR Generalist plays a pivotal role in supporting corporate functions and partnering with leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives. The HR Generalist directly manages employee relations, supports as the first point of contact with any HR related questions, while contributing to workforce planning initiatives. This role leads HR projects, collaborates on strategic initiatives, and serves as a trusted advisor to leadership. As an expert in HR systems and analytics, the HRG leverages key HR metrics to track progress, identify opportunities, and drive data-informed decision-making. Responsibilities Full cycle recruitment and selection. Manage Sysco's HRIS system, Workday. Analyze HR data to generate actionable insights and inform decision-making processes. Partner with leaders and HR Business Partners (HRBPs) on strategic initiatives and organizational changes, including workforce planning and restructuring efforts. Support HRBPs in executing annual HR initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys and action planning, compensation reviews, talent reviews, and succession planning. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in HR programs and processes, recommending enhancements to drive efficiency and improve the employee experience. Skills Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations. Proven ability to build strong partnerships with leaders and cross-functional teams. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and coach stakeholders at all levels. Education Bachelor's degree in related discipline or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree Experience 2+ years of experience Physical Demands Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.
