Your Background
- 2–4 years of experience in HR operations, people systems, or people analytics
- Demonstrated passion for streamlined processes and automation to enhance the candidate and employee experience and deliver business value.
- Strong systems thinking and a passion for process improvement
- Ability to work in a fast paced, challenging environment
- Advanced Excel skills: proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word and PowerPoint as needed)
- Experience with process-mapping tools (like Visio, Lucidchart, or similar)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organized with strong prioritization skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and follow-through
- Excels in a fast-paced environment
- Executes duties with precision, positively impacting the candidate and employee experience by demonstrating a commitment to high-quality work.
- Collaborative and service-oriented with a focus on delivering a great employee experience
- Comfortable learning new tools and adapting
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across teams
- Experience with platforms such as HiBob, Microsoft Dynamics, Netsuite and Ivanti is strongly preferred
As a Specialist, People & Values Operations you role will include: Operational Excellence (60%) Improve efficiency and readiness through system integration, automation, and leader enablement. Streamline operations, improving service delivery and enhancing the experience of leaders and employees through scalable technology solutions. Positioning P&V as a trusted, strategic partner through improved response times, clarity of services, and stronger internal client experience.
- Support with building a client obsessed centre of excellence and assess all P&V processes – current state and desired state and identify efficiencies to ensure a best-in-class employee journey
- Partner with People & Values Operations team to implement automation, leverage AI to eliminate time consuming manual work
- Act as a key contributor to the P&V Operations strategy plan and roadmap
- Own, improve, and document key People & Values workflows (e.g. onboarding, job changes, offboarding) and process documentation.
- Responsible for maintaining a People & Values admin guide for up to date desktop procedures
- Ownership of HRIS administration & management including onboarding and new hire set up
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company guidelines, and industry best practices
- Policy Management and annual review for compliance – across all geographies
- Provide project management support for special People & Values projects and initiatives as required
- Uphold and promote our values and leadership principles as a cultural ambassador, ensuring the integration of our culture into every facet of our operations
Global Payroll and Benefits (10%)
- Manage administration of benefit programs and group retirement plans and ensure deep knowledge of programs in order to guide team members
- Partner with Operations leader to review benefit plans annually to ensure they are market competitive and they meet the needs of our diverse workforce
- Lead updating semi-monthly payroll summaries, collaborating with Business Partners to provide payroll team any new hires, people changes, terminations and other updates on a semi-monthly basis for processing ensuring accuracy
- Integration of M&A successfully into Bond payroll and benefits programs
Strengthen Employee Engagement Through Recognition and Employee Experience Strengthen employee engagement and retention by leading recognition, appreciation and employee experience initiatives that reinforce Bond's values, celebrate meaningful contributions and create a culture where employees feel valued, connected and motivated to do their best work. Culture, Engagement and Recognition (30%)
- Lead and evolve culture, engagement, and recognition programs that foster an inclusive workplace and contribute to overall well-being, measured against identified KPIs
- Lead annual Bond Choice Awards – finding efficiencies in processes, building fiscal year plans to align with annual Fiscal Year Kick Off format and approach, and ensuring a strong employee experience
- Manager Bond’s Peer Recognition Program JustWow, reviewing quarterly and promoting engagement
- Ensure milestone anniversaries are celebrated in a meaningful way, coordinated efficiently and the program reviewed annually, recommending enhancements and roll out of program changes
- Actively participate in Our Social Bond Committees by supporting and promoting Bond connection and inclusion initiatives
- Ownership of maximizing the value of Bond’s WorkPerks discounts partnership, assessing quarterly engagement and putting forth recommendations and responsible for promoting to increase participation and ensuring alignment with team member needs
- Provide proactive support for internal P&V knowledge articles and resources through drafting, publishing and maintaining information
- Represent the People & Values team at weekly corporate communications meetings to align on messaging and initiatives for the corporate calendar
- Create and manage People & Values content to announce and celebrate our people at All Employee Meetings (AEM)
Compensation: The expected base salary compensation for this role is $63,588.95 to $83,582.32 CAD annually.
