We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Manager for a top Global company within the Automotive Industry in the Vaughan Area!
Scope of the position:
The Human Resources Manager will oversee all aspects of HR management at CMI, including recruitment, employee relations, policy development, performance management, compliance, and training. Reporting directly to ownership, this individual will play a key role in shaping CMI’s workforce strategy and ensuring a positive, safe, and productive workplace culture across our manufacturing operations.
Salary Range: $90,000-120,000 per year

Responsibilities · Develop and oversee new hire orientation, onboarding efforts and employee termination process · Maintain and communicate company policy to supervision and associates. · Participate in the recruiting process, confirm recruiting strategy with HR team, interview candidates, coordinate offer approval, coach managers on recruiting process and vendor management to facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions. · Perform tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs, including but not limited to compensation, benefits, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, occupational health and safety, training and development, etc. · Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations as required · Promote, implement, and communicate activities regarding policies, regulations and standards related to employment and occupational issues for hourly and salaried staff · Manage monthly HR metrics (attendance, hiring activities, etc.) for the assigned facility. · Organise employee onboarding, coordinate training and development initiatives · Promote HR programs to create an effective and conflict-free workplace · Offer accurate information/support to employees on HR-related topics such as compensation, benefits and leaves; and resolve any issues that may arise. · Responsible for hourly employee attendance tracking, vacation tracking and issuing of appropriate corrective actions. · Assist with health and safety, WSIB, STD/LTD program/policies as required. · Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong knowledge of Ontario employment standards and health & safety legislation. Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to balance hands-on HR administration with strategic leadership. Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office applications. CHRP or CHRL designation (or working toward one) considered an asset
