Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the General Supervisor, Human Resources, you will assist her in all activities related to human resources management. You will be actively involved in attraction activities and human resources projects. You will act as an advisor to managers. You will ensure that objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and the environment.
Answer employee questions regarding policies, benefits, various leaves, and changes to their records; Advise managers on the application of programs, policies, practices, and the company’s management philosophy; Carry out the onboarding and integration of new employees and follow up; Visit various projects located in Quebec, Ontario, and Nunavut; Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to follow up on the staffing process; Participate in the implementation, development, and establishment of HR policies, programs, and procedures, taking into account Exploration Canada’s multi-site and regional reality; Coordinate the annual employee satisfaction survey (GPTW); Enter and update employee records in various systems; Conduct exit interviews for employees leaving the organization; Collaborate with other divisions to align existing HR practices, with the possibility of being involved in various internal committees; Perform any other related duties associated with the role.
What You Need To Succeed
Hold a university degree in Human Resources or Administration. Any other relevant training may be considered; Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in a similar role; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Proficiency in English, both spoken and written; Proficiency in French, as the role involves collaboration with other Agnico Eagle sites where French is the primary language; Ability to manage priorities effectively; Versatility, ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and manage stress; Attention to detail, integrity, and respect for confidentiality; Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team.
Your Work Schedule
Schedule : 5/2 or 5/2-4/3; The primary workplace will be the Val-d’Or or Malartic Exploration regional office; Another Agnico Eagle office such as Rouyn-Noranda, Sudbury, Kirkland Lake, Timmins, Toronto, or Mirabel may be considered. If the office is outside the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region, regular presence in the region will be required; Regular travel by car and plane within Abitibi, Ontario, and Nunavut.
