Description
As a strategic recruiting partner to the business, you are a trusted advisor, talent market expert, and problem solver who excels at building strong relationships and delivering exceptional hiring outcomes. You bring a consultative mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement, helping elevate the recruitment experience for candidates, hiring leaders, and stakeholders alike.
Reporting to the Corporate Talent Leader, you will lead end-to-end recruitment activities across a portfolio of corporate functions, partnering closely with business leaders to understand workforce needs and develop effective talent acquisition strategies. Leveraging market insights, sourcing expertise, and data-driven decision-making, you will identify and attract top talent while ensuring an efficient, inclusive, and positive hiring experience.
Whether supporting Finance, People & Culture, Guest Experience, Commercial, Technology, or other corporate functions, you will demonstrate excellence in execution, influence hiring decisions through talent and market expertise, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of recruitment practices across the organization. You will help establish a high standard of service, enabling the business to attract and hire exceptional talent while strengthening the organization's employer brand.
Responsibilities
Act as a strategic talent advisor to business leaders, providing consultative guidance on hiring strategies, labour market trends, workforce planning, and talent availability. Partner with hiring leaders to develop and execute recruitment strategies that attract top talent across a variety of corporate and professional disciplines. Lead full-cycle recruitment activities, including intake discussions, sourcing, candidate assessment, interview facilitation, offer negotiation, and onboarding support. Leverage a variety of sourcing channels, including direct sourcing, networking, referrals, talent communities, social media, and job boards to identify and engage high-quality candidates. Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles across multiple business areas. Deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring leader experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle. Promote and communicate the organization's employer value proposition through inclusive and equitable recruitment practices. Partner with business leaders to support workforce planning activities and proactively identify future talent needs. Coordinate and participate in recruitment events, networking opportunities, and talent attraction initiatives that strengthen the organization's talent pipeline and employer brand. Analyze recruitment metrics, labour market intelligence, and hiring trends to provide insights and recommendations that support business decisions and continuous improvement. Ensure recruitment practices comply with company policies, employment legislation, and equitable hiring standards. Collaborate with HR Business Partners, People Operations, Talent Management and other key stakeholders on recruiting and workforce-related matters. Support Talent Acquisition projects, operational improvements, and strategic initiatives designed to enhance recruitment effectiveness and efficiency. Provide recruitment reporting, hiring insights, and talent market intelligence to leaders as required.
Qualifications
5+ years of full-cycle corporate recruitment experience within a complex, fast-paced, enterprise-scale organization (similar in scope and operational complexity to ). In-House TA Track Record: Proven success working within an in-house Talent Acquisition team, directly partnering with senior business leaders to deliver high-volume and specialized hiring outcomes. Multi-Portfolio Expertise: Direct experience managing multiple corporate portfolios simultaneously (e.g., Finance, Technology, Human Resources, Commercial, Customer Experience). Sourcing Capability: Demonstrated success building proactive talent pipelines and executing advanced direct-sourcing strategies for complex, specialized, or hard-to-fill professional roles. Legislative & EDI Knowledge: Solid understanding of Canadian employment legislation, human rights standards, and equitable, inclusive recruitment methodologies. Technical & System Requirements Proficiency with modern Applicant Tracking Systems (Dayforce experience strongly preferred). Strong technical proficiency across the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and executive presentations. Nice to Haves Direct hands-on experience using the Dayforce ATS platform. Deep experience supporting Finance and specialized quantitative corporate functions. Competencies & Soft Skills Strategic Relationship Management: Ability to cultivate trust and build collaborative partnerships across all organizational levels, including executive stakeholders. Executive Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to synthesize complex labor market data into clear, actionable advice. Business Acumen: Deep understanding of organizational dynamics and financial drivers, balancing candidate needs, manager priorities, and corporate objectives seamlessly. Consultative Problem Solver: A proactive, solution-oriented approach to recruitment challenges with a strong focus on continuous improvement and operational quality. Education and Certifications Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of formal education, specialized training, and direct corporate recruitment experience). Preferred Certifications & Continuous Learning Professional HR Designation: Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) or Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) is strongly preferred. Specialized Sourcing/Recruitment Training: Certifications or coursework in modern talent acquisition methodologies, inclusive/equitable hiring practices, or behavioral interviewing techniques.
