The Senior Associate, Contingent Workforce supports the execution of IMCO’s contingent workforce strategy and recruitment operations, with accountability for coordinating day-to-day program delivery and ensuring high-quality, compliant, and timely talent solutions. The role supports the organization in accessing and deploying critical skills through consistent application of structured processes, standards, and decision frameworks. This includes coordinating elements of full-cycle recruitment activities and contingent workforce processes, such as demand intake, role scoping support, sourcing coordination, assessment logistics, offer administration, and onboarding execution. In parallel, the Senior Associate supports the Contingent Workforce Optimization (CWO) Program and contingent worker playbook, helping to maintain an audit-ready control environment across the contingent workforce lifecycle and triaging exceptions for escalation in partnership with Legal, Procurement, Finance, and Compliance. As an operational partner to business leaders, HR Business Partners, and corporate functions, the role ensures consistent execution, supports compliance, and contributes to program effectiveness through reporting, documentation, and process improvements, helping ensure IMCO’s contingent workforce and talent attraction models are effectively executed, scalable, and aligned with organizational priorities. This is a contract position with an estimated end date of December 2027. As a Member of Our Team, You Will be Responsible for: Contingent Workforce Program Delivery Support the execution of IMCO’s Contingent Workforce Optimization (CWO) Program, ensuring consistent application of the playbook, operating model, and standards Coordinate end-to-end contingent workforce processes, including intake, approvals, onboarding, renewals/extensions, and offboarding · Review requests for completeness, risk indicators, and policy alignment, and escalate exceptions or higher-risk engagements as required Help ensure appropriate worker classification and adherence to compliance, governance, and risk management requirements across all engagements Maintain documentation and process controls to support an audit-ready and defensible contingent workforce model Workforce Process Coordination (Contingent & Fixed-Term) Coordinate elements of the engagement lifecycle for contingent and fixed-term employees, including intake, role scoping support, vendor coordination, interview logistics, offer administration, and onboarding execution · Partner with HR Business Partners, hiring managers, and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and consistent engagement processes Support delivery of a positive and consistent hiring manager and worker experience through clear communication and process guidance Ensure adherence to defined service levels, standards, and contingent workforce practices Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination Support day-to-day interactions with contingent workforce vendors, including Vendors of Record and staffing partners Track vendor activity, engagement status, and service delivery against expectations Partner with Legal, Procurement, Finance, Compliance, and HR to ensure smooth execution of processes and alignment with governance requirements Assist in coordinating contract renewals, extensions, and related documentation Reporting, Insights & Continuous Improvement · Track program activity, compliance metrics, and key performance indicators across contingent and fixed-term workforce processes Prepare regular reporting to support transparency on volume, cycle times, spend, and risk indicators · Maintain program documentation, tools, and guidance materials to support consistent execution and user adoption Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, compliance, and user experience Contribute to ongoing enhancements to the contingent workforce program, including process simplification and automation What do you need to succeed? University degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Workforce Management, Program Coordination or contingent workforce / contractor program delivery Experience supporting or coordinating contingent workforce employee programs Demonstrated experience managing enterprise-wide programs involving governance, multiple stakeholders, and complex decision-making. An understanding of contingent workforce models, including Vendors of Record, staffing partners, and third-party engagements Experience working with cross-functional partners, including Legal, Procurement, Finance, and Compliance, to support program execution Ability to interpret and apply policies, standards, and playbooks to ensure consistent and compliant outcomes Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders Analytical capability to track program activity, monitor KPIs, and support reporting and insights generation Experience supporting or contributing to dashboards, reporting, or program metrics (advanced executive reporting not required) Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to provide clear guidance to hiring managers and stakeholders Comfort operating in a structured, process-driven environment with a focus on accuracy and execution Proactive problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and escalate as appropriate Continuous improvement mindset, with experience identifying opportunities to enhance processes and user experience Ability to build effective working relationships and influence day-to-day decisions within defined frameworks The base salary range for this position is CAD $80,000.00 - $110,000.00. The placement within the range is determined by the range of market pay for the specific position, as well as the candidate's knowledge, skillset and experience relative to the requirements of the position and to internal peers.
