About the role
- Power your future with Qualus in our Talent Acquisition department as a Sr. Talent Acquisition Business Partner
- As a Sr. Talent Acquisition Business Partner, you will be achieve staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates for assigned business leaders, advising business leaders regarding best practices and market trends, performing competitive analysis and driving a solid pipeline for succession planning and growth
- Post openings positions to appropriate internet sources
- Creates an applicant pipeline and maintains throughout changes
- Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications
- Support recommendations for best hire practices
- Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements; using newsgroups and job sites
- Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; verify references; comparing qualifications to job requirements
- Arranges management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranges travel, lodging, and meals; escorting applicants to interviews; arranging community tours
- Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations
- Provides reports to recruiting manager and other divisions as requested
- Manage social media listings
- Travel as necessary for conference, client meetings, candidate meetings, and headquarter events- Able to recognize when issues arise or may arise
- Bachelor’s degree required; business, communications, or engineering preferred
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple medium‑to‑large projects simultaneously
- Able to shift between planned and unplanned tasks in a 24/7 emergency‑response environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to clearly convey and understand information
- Works independently, adapts quickly to changing priorities, and completes critical tasks with a sense of urgency
- Minium 5 years recruiting experience for senior level positions required; utility and/or electrical field service or engineering experience preferred
- Use logic and reasoning to evaluate options and solve problems
- Professional and effective phone communication
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and database usage
- Skilled at bringing stakeholders together and resolving differences
