About the role

Location: Remote position open to candidates in California or Texas, with a preference for California residents. Schedule: 25-30 hours per week, flexible schedule Duration: Late August through approximately January Compensation: $30-35/hour based on experience and education

About the role: We are seeking a Temporary Part-Time Recruiter to support agency-wide hiring during a team member's leave of absence. This role will lead full-cycle recruitment for a variety of positions, including frontline staff, program and property managers, administrative roles, and director-level positions.

What you’ll do: Manage full-cycle recruiting from requisition intake through offer. Source, screen, and interview candidates. Coordinate interviews and complete reference checks. Present offers and ensure a positive candidate experience. Maintain accurate records in Rippling ATS. Partner with hiring managers and HR throughout the hiring process. Ensure compliance with CA employment laws and organizational policies.

What you’ll bring: 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, non-profit recruiting experience is desired! Experience recruiting for a variety of roles and levels. Familiarity with ATS platforms; Rippling experience a plus. Knowledge of CA employment laws and hiring best practices. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Indeed. Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
